Cut Stations are designed to hold the Pharmsouth skeining frames of all sizes to produce sutures of a required length.
This machine achieves 80 to 200 sutures per frame.
- The station achieves very accurate results:
- The frames are perfectly aligned and clamped into position. The sutures are secured in position across the channel – which minimises movement (and any sticking together) during tipping and cutting.
- Cyanoacrylate adhesive is applied by hand to the width required.
- The suture is cut by hand or electric rotary blade via an accurately guided razor blade.
Machine variations include:
- The standard Static Tip and Cut Station for flat frames.
- The Adjustable Tip and Cut Station for flat and square frames.
- A choice of static or electric rotary blade for cutting.
- Optional table, either static or adjustable height for use with either type of cut station.
